Shri Brahmi Kala Mandiram

A unique and magnificent museum, Shri Brahmi Kala Mandiram, showcases in an educational and beautiful manner the life and teachings of the Tirthankars. It was opened in 1982 to mark the 82nd birthday of Pujya Gurudev Shri Amar Muniji Maharaj. Shri Brahmi Kala Mandiram is named after Brahmi, who was well versed in the arts and was the daughter of the first Tirthankar, Bhagwan Rishabhdev. This museum is a dramatic translation of Pujya Tai Ma’s inner vision and she has designed and fashioned each detail with her own hands.

The highlights of the museum are the beautiful, colourful panels made out of natural material such as dry leaves, twigs, bamboo stems, rocks and recycled products such as fabric, broken jewellery, broken pottery etc. Pujya Tai Ma puts these items together to create miniatures that fit perfectly within the panels making it look appealing and very life like!

Since opening millions of visitors have visited the museum. A large number of national and international visitors of all faiths attend the museum daily creating a deep impression in the hearts of some, who return year after year to experience its beauty and energy.

Prachin Bihar

Prachin Bihar, a unique creation by Pujya Tai Ma, is an exhibit of model historic towns, temples, and landmarks of ancient Bihar.  A novel and appealing model train has been created which stops at each ancient site providing information on that site and its importance from the Jain perspective. It depicts the ancient history of Bihar covering Nalanda, Pawapuri, Kousambi, Vanijya Gram, Shravasthi, Vaishali, Rajgir, Mithila, Champa and Lachhuar.

Every landmark was painstakingly handcrafted with exquisite details by Pujya Tai Ma herself and it is an additional attraction for visitors coming to see Shri Brahmi Kala Mandiram.
