About Sadhvi Sangh

Pujya Tai Ma possesses that rare combination of a vision which is focused on compassionate acts for the greater good and patience which has been cultivated through decades of contemplation. She chose the path of Bhagwan Mahavir and took diksha (renounced worldly life) to diligently accomplish far more than the pursuit of a religious mandate. She has indeed empowered and touched the lives of countless people in need through the provision of education, health and justice, always with utmost love, compassion and an unwavering faith.

But this task would simply not have been possible without the unconditional support of a team of Sadhvis (nuns), who are likewise self-realised, positive and empathetic towards making a difference to mankind.

Upadhyaya Sadhvi Shri Yashaji

Upadhyaya Sadhvi Shri Yashaji renounced her worldly life at a young age and is well read and her insightful knowledge of the teachings of Bhagwan Mahavir is both vast and profound. She is highly proficient in giving enthralling discourses in various languages.

Sadhvi Shri Sadhnaji

Sadhvi Shri Sadhnaji is the editor of the Veerayatan publication, Shri Amar Bharti, a monthly magazine that contains articles on Indian philosophy and religion. She is proficient in many languages including Sanskrit and Prakrit.

Dr Sadhvi Shri Chetanaji

Sadhvi Shri Chetnaji is Pujya Tai Ma’s first disciple. She worked in the eye camps which were the first-ever initiative of Veerayatan and later ran the eye hospital in Rajgir, Bihar for more than 40 years. She has translated Gurudev’s and Pujya Tai Ma’s literature into Gujarati and is currently based in Palitana, overseeing all the school activities.

Sadhvi Shri Vibhaji

Sadhvi Shri Vibhaji has studied Gujarati literature, gives discourses and writes eloquently and beautifully the stories of Bhagwan Mahavir.

Sadhvi Shri Shrutiji

A conscientious Sadhvi, Shrutiji maharaj humbly enjoys teaching children and adults and looks after the daily needs of Pujya Tai Ma.

Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji

Sadhvi Shri Shilapiji, who heads the Kutch and the Nepal Centres, has contributed vastly in the development and operations of all the activities at these two centres. She has travelled and lectured extensively all over the world and has played a vital role in establishing Shri Chandana Vidyapeeth Jain School in Kenya and the UK.

Dr Sadhvi Shri Sampragyaji

Sadhvi Shri Sampragyaji plays an instrumental role in the vast growth and operations of all the activities and heads the various centres in Bihar where work is ever expanding. She passionately spreads the messages of Pujya Tai Ma to all worldwide.

Sadhvi Shri Rohiniji

Sadhvi Shri Rohiniji supports in running and progressing all the activities in Bihar.

Sadhvi Shri Sanghamitraji

Sadhvi Shri Sanghamitraji has translated the spiritual and social welfare messages of Pujya Tai Mai into melodious songs and conveyed them to people around the world. She heads the Palitana Centre and is progressing all the activities there.

Sadhvi Shri Sumedhaji

Sadhvi Shri Sumedhaji supports in running and progressing the activities in Kutch.

Sadhvi Shri Manasviji

Sadhvi Shri Manasviji is currently overseeing the Nepal activities.

Both Sadhvi Shri Shashvathji and Sadhvi Shri Divyaji support the work of Veerayatan, give discourses and write scriptures in one of the oldest languages, Brahmi lipi.

Our Guiding Lights

Sadhvi Shri Rambha Kunwarji and Sadhvi Shri Sumati Kunwarji

Both Sadhvi Shri Rambha Kunwarji and Sadhvi Sumati Kunwarji were Pujya Tai Ma’s gurus. They considered Pujya Tai Ma as their spiritual daughter and were by her side at all times and encouraged and gave her strength to accomplish her mission.

Yuvacharya Sadhvi Shri Shubhamji

Given the title of Yuvacharya, Shubhamji Maharaj was an expert in Jain, Vedic and Buddhist philosophy and literature. She had travelled extensively overseas greatly promoting Jainism and contributing immensely in progressing the work of Veerayatan.
